Divine Weapons Tuesday, May 1 2007

This post is about the weapons used in the great mahabharat war.

Basically there were two types of the weapons used those days. Astras and Shastras (sha as in shall not as in sharp)

Astras were offensive weapons – Brahmastra, Pasupatastra, Agneyastra, Indrastra all come under this category

Shastras were defensive weapons – Shields, brahmadanda etc come under this category

Probably Brahmastra was a nuclear weapon as the description of this weapon in Mahabharata matches exactly that of a nuclear strike. As I have been quoting always, this was first noted by Oppenheimer , the father of modern atomic bomb when americans exploded the test version of the first atomic bomb before using it on Japan. Oppenheimer was surprised when he saw the nuclear explosion as he had already read the Bhagavadgita and Mahabharata and could immediately relate what he saw to what he had read in those ancient texts!!

Astras or the offensive weapons are also called Divyastras ( meaning divine weapons, divya means divine) In other words divyastras are the weapons owned by divine people whom I believe to be the aliens who originally owned these weapons. As I said earlier the gods mentioned in Mahabharata are aliens who visited earth from their far away planets. Maharshis, Brahmarshis etc (they were the scientists, chief scientists of those days and not some normal long bearded saints or sages as many think) usually were the ones who had all secrets of these weapons as they were the original inventors of these and would later hand them over to the political leadership aka the devatas. Some scientists like Shukracharya had defected towards the bad aliens called rakshasas.

If we observe the trend in the mahabharat and other ancient Indian texts, it becomes pretty obvious that these divyastras were limited in number and were hard to obtain. Most great warriors always tried to collect as many divyastras as possible, which is why it was preferred to be taught by great rishis as they possessed the knowledge of these weapons.

For the normal humans on earth, the other way of obtaining these astras was to do tapasya (penance) and have a superluminal contact with the alien gods like Indra who owned these weapons and impress them somehow to get the weapons.

Also it should be noted that these weapons were not necessarily collected in their physical form and stored. Instead the mantras (which I feel were passwords to launch these weapons) of the particular weapon had to be learnt. Without the mantra it was not possible to lauch a weapon. This is the reason why during the crucial stage of the war, Karna inspite of possessing great weapons in his arsenal is not able to use them as he forgets the correspoding mantras of those weapons. This is also the reason how Ekalavya acquires the knowledge of using these weapons even though he is not a student of the great maharshi drona. He learns the mantras by just listening to drona teaching the panadavas and kauravas.

Well, it also looks like mahabharatha war was more of a super psychic, super human warfare. Reciting the mantras would lauch these weapons. There were also mantras to recall the weapons! But not all weapons could be recalled! If the enemy was strong enough then he could also reverese the weapons! Some Shastras like Brahmadanda were known to protect against all kinds of astras including Brahmastra.

By the way there are three great astras which the Top divinity – The Trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva possess. This is also where the concept of GOD as Generator, Observer and Destroyer lies. Brahma is the Generator, Vishnu the Observer and Shiva the Destroyer.

Brahma owns Brahmastra
Vishnu owns Narayanastra
Shiva owns Pasupatastra

When I say owns, what it means is that without the consent of the owner, it is not possible to launch these weapons, even if one knew the corresponding mantra of the weapon.

This is the reason Arjuna does tapasya to please lord shiva to obtain the Pasupatastra while preparing for the great Mahabharat war.

One last thought, Mahabharata and the Gita within it could also be combined to be an epic inside every human’s lives, the stage is the human mind itself, the war is going on within us, we need to collect astras to fight the evil thoughts within us, brahmastra and others are the superpsychic combination which could be acquired only by greater concentration and dedication. Krishna says to Arjuna, ‘You may or may not use your weapons in the war. But it is VERY IMPORTANT that you possess them’ !

In one of my earlier blogs, I had mentioned that India alone needs one and a half times the energy currently consumed by entire world, if India were to be a nation as developed as USA.

The living standards of a developed nation like USA is completely dependent on the availability of energy for all the necessities and luxuries that a developed society offers.

Now how on earth can we get such a huge amount of energy ? Already we are running out of resources like petroleum, nuclear options are dangerous and also very soon we will run out of nuclear fuels, nuclear materials are controlled by a few countries of the world, if we dont create fast breeder reactors using thorium then we have little nuclear fuel left, what about pollution? nuclear wastes?

For the whole world to live like a developed nation the amount of energy required is about 8 times the energy that the world produces currently. But how?

Only feasible non polluting long term solution seems to be our true energy provider, SUN

To harness energy from Sun, we need to install solar panels, but how on earth? 

Problem #1 is Land for solar panels: Dedicated land for solar panels is not feasible. There might be cloudy days. Land will be wasted and not available for other purpose.

Problem #2 is Storage: Suppose we distribute solar panels across the globe. On top of all buildings, vehicles and what not. We cant touch the forests though. Now how do we collect the power generated from all these places and store ? It will become a infrastructure problem. Again not really feasible. Say suppose we want to store power enough for the entire world for next 6 months.

Problem #3 Weather: All days are not sunny days. There are cloudy days, there are rainy days, and there are days which are not either and still not sunny.

Problem #4, Night: Only half of earth will be working at a time. Part of earth on the night side cannot harness solar energy.

More than anything else, when the entire world becomes a developed society, power requirements will be so dynamic and high that most of the stored power will be consumed almost immediately, and we cannot afford more storage space too as world population increases. Also we dont want to risk lives by having massive power storage grids.

Then the solution ? I always love to look at outer space There lies the solution

Millions of solar panels and power storage units floating in outer space. . Solar energy is captured from the sun to generate power and the power is transmitted to local storage units spread all over the earth on demand in the form of direct contact lightning strikes to ground based storage units for immediate consumption. Of course normal clouds on earth which cause lightening are at a quite lower altitude on earth compared to sending electricity from space, so we need to have intermediary receivers at different levels. Probably we may have a local backup of few days for the entire planet in case the space infrastructure fails.

Fault tolerance is required for these space based solar panels. There will be constant wear and tear. Meteorites might break down the panels and grids. Asteroids might hit. Comets might interfere. So we need to have propulsion based computer guided systems in all these free floating power generators in space which move around in a flexible manner in response to projectile threats in the space.

There should be on site robots which constantly repair all those worn and torn panels and grids. All the storage will be in space and energy as required is pumped down to earth. No wastage of space as long as we rely on outer space. In fact in the future we can move out all the manufacturing industries and factories to outer space. Use locally available resources as much as possible in outer space like solar energy, hydrogen, mineral ores from asteroids, etc and have the entire setup run by robots.

Well we might have the contemporary science fiction movies then which would have a plot where aliens try to steal power from our grids ! or say they install their own robots in our space based power generation units to take over the entire system !

Also since power is available in space, our future interplanetary, interstellar or intergalactic missions which take off from earth need not carry the complete power payload from earth itself, instead they can carry the bear minimum energy required for a take off to get out of earth’s gravity and then recharge themselves later with enough power at these space based power grids OR we can have all take offs for space travel from the space stations built somewhere near these power grids!

We can even have these solar panels and power grids at all the planets in our solar system and on prominent asteroids for consumptions by human/robotic missions which arrive to these places.

These were my thoughts that started with a requirement for a reliable energy resource for a developed world and later increased to scope to include space based factories, industries, space travel…….

Going up? Monday, Apr 23 2007

A friend of mine wanted to smoke a Wills cigaratte and I just created a funny two liner on the fly and warned him about the dangers of smoking saying,

‘Where there is a will there is a way,
Where there is a Wills cigaratte, there is only one way’ and pointed upwards towards the sky’

As we all know ‘going up’ means death. That is what I meant – ‘Cigaratte smoking is injurious to health and may cause death’

Then suddenly I had a thought. Why in most cultures ‘going up’ – pointing towards the sky, is related to death?

Does it mean that our ancients came from some of those planets out there in the deep space? Earth is a matrix environment for their experiments. Death is not the end of life. Souls do exist. Which is why eastern cultures talk about the concept of rebirth. There is nothing called true death of a person. A person ceasing to exist (which actually means his body ceased to exist) is NOT THE SAME AS the person actually dying ??

After death do we all return back to our creator’s planet/s where the definition of life is completely different, say in the form of souls, not in the form of the bodies we have here on earth? That is why ancient vedic texts say that soul is undestroyable and we are just actors in the play of our life. Do we come to earth like how actors sign up to act in a movie? We play our act and then wind up (which other actors here call death?)

Is that why ancient hinduism calls upon us to concentrate on knowing who we really are?? Are we some kind of test cases in the development of a huge software product? Are we some experimental setup in doing research for some kind of feasible evolutionary system?
Or is MATRIX true? Probably this is a good matrix, not an evil one. Thank GOD

There is a wonderful poem in Kannada which says ‘Allide Nammane, illi bande summane’ which means ‘My true house is out there, I came here just like that for a visit’

Now please dont tell me that I am talking about GOD. GOD as we know created the universe. (Well, its different that in hinduism GOD is the universe itself and all its forms!)

But here I am talking about those who were created well after the creation of the universe following the big bang and then that probably they created us. Some kind of Sub GOD or a sub level of GOD

So we report to these people, who in turn hopefully direcly report to GOD

My friend who wanted to smoke only one cigaratte, ended up smoking two more after listening to my thoughts :=))

In this part of the series, I will talk about Sanskrit

Sanskrit is the ancient Indian language of the vedic era and is the mother of all Indo European languages including modern english

Sanskrit was introduced on earth by the eternal sages of vedic era. There has never been any kind, class or nature of change in the science of Sanskrit grammar as seen in other languages of the world as they passed through one stage to another. This is known history.

Now let me tell you my version of this. The sages of vedic era (Called Rishis in sanskrit) were the researchers and scientists of those days. They had different levels like Junior Scientist, Senior Scientist etc who were called Rishis, Maharshis and Brahmarshis, Brahmarshis being the senior most of them. They invented sanskrit. Unlike other modern languages which are localized versions and which evolved from other languages (most of which can be traced back to sanskrit) or those languages which evolved from speech based gestures as humans learned to speak on earth, sanskrit was a language which was invented and created, more on the lines of C/C++/Java with its semantics and  structure scientifically well defined. It was taught on planet earth by the ancient Indian sages (scientitsts) whose fore fathers were from some alien planet (Yes, I will come to this later)

According to a research article published in German’s forbes magazine in July 1987 Sanksrit is THE BEST language spoken by humans which can be used like a programming language to develop software!! This is because unlike all other human languages the grammar and syntax of Sanskrit is scientifically well defined, so that a computer can understand it and it can be programmed logically.

“The sound of each of the 36 consonants and the 16 vowels of Sanskrit are fixed and precise since its very creation. They were never changed, altered, improved or modified. All the words of the Sanskrit language always had the same pronunciation as they have today. There was no ‘sound shift,’ no change in the vowel system, and no addition was ever made in the grammar of the Sanskrit in relation to the formation of the words. The reason is its absolute perfection by its own nature and formation, because it was the first language of the world.

When a language is spoken by unqualified people the pronunciation of the word changes to some extent; and when these words travel by word of mouth to another region of the land, with the gap of some generations, it permanently changes its form and shape to some extent. Just like the Sanskrit word matri, with a long ‘a’ and soft ‘t,’ became mater in Greek and mother in English. Also note that Sanskrit is believed to be a DIVINE language by hindus (means not of earth’s origin)!!

In other words sanskrit is an alien language that was brought to earth by those aliens (ancient Indians including sages and warriors) who came to earth from their mother planet. They came to earth pre vedic period and their era on earth is the vedic period at the end of which the Mahabharatha war happened which definitely was a nuclear war (based on the descriptions of weapons provided in mahabharatha which clearly is identified as a nuclear weapon by many experts including Oppenheimer- The father of modern atomic bomb) and also based on the fact that Mahabharatha says that in the final great war over 14 billion people were killed in a matter of less than 3 weeks!! Note: Current population of earth is 6 billion!!

Vedas are ancient Indian texts written in Sanskrit. Vedas are the total compilation of the scientific and technological knowledge of the people of the vedic era which was taught to the people on the earth by the alien visitors. First they set up ashrams (schools) here to teach the local inhabitants of earth Sanskrit. Then they wanted to teach the people of earth all the knowledge they had. For this purpose Veda Vyasa, a chief scientist compiled all the knowledge they had then in the form of four vedas. That is the reason vyasa is called Veda Vyasa. He also documented the history then till end of mahabharatha war in the form of the world’s largest epic Mahabharatha.

So as I said, Vedas are a treasure of knowledge, Veda itself in sanskrit means ‘Complete knowledge’ !! It is a very wrong notion for people to think that vedas are just hymns in the praise of gods and godesses. I feel sorry when I see vedas being used in temples of India today just to praise gods and godesses by the priests. Vedas are much more than that. If they were just hymns or praises then why is the so well established vedic mathematics a part of vedas??

Vedic mathematics is purely mental mathematics, people can even do modern calculus and trigonometry with a greater ease if they know vedic mathematics. A lot of VEDIC MATHEMATICS is been taught in many schools in the west today in the name of MENTAL MATHEMATICS !! By the way of the four vedas which Vyasa compiled vedic mathematics is a part of Atharva Veda and it makes a lot of sense to be so because Atharva Veda is all about engineering technologies.

So then why most of these vedic hymns appear to be praises of gods and godesses. Well, probably Vyasa saw that the people on earth then would take a lot of time to understand all the technology and science they would teach them and it would take generations for them to digest and understand it all. Imagine teaching all our current technology and science to some tribals in a remote african forest!!!

So what Vyasa did was using the powerful sanskrit language he wrote the vedas in an encrypted format where on a first glance parts of it sounds like some story and praises of gods, where as on decrypting the same, it would explain the science and technolgy hidden in the hymn!! And then the rishis had the entire vedas mugged up (by-hearted) by all their pupils in the ashramas (schools which they had set up)
Then these vedas were recited every day and started using it while performing pujas (praying to god) and thats the reason even after thousands of years the vedas have been passed down to generations in the form of recitals without vanishing. Even today we hear the same vedas being recited in the hindu temples all over the world by the priests. Vyasa did a master move by planning to make vedic recital a religious practice to their pupils so that even after generations the text is not lost, a better move I say than writing it down in the form of books), with a hope that some later generation would be able to decrypt the vedic texts and unleash the vast scientific and technological treasures hidden in it….

I have been always making attempts to decrypt the vedic texts and I shall present here one of the simplest decryptions that I have done. I have shared this with many of my friends earlier. There are other decryptions that I have done and am continuing to do more, but explaining them all would require me to type in a lot.. so let me explain only one of the simplest things here..

There is a vedic hymn on lord ganesh which goes as follows

“Vakratunda Mahakaya SuryaKoti Samaprabha
Nirvignam Kurume Deva Sarva Kaaryeshu Sarvadaa”

At the first glance this is a praise of lord ganesha who is the elephant faced god and whose one of the two tusks was broken. Vakratunda means curved trunk, Mahakaaya means large bodied, Surya is Sun and Koti means 10 million, Samaprabha means equivalent shine.. So the first line on a first glance means ‘Lord with curved trunk and a huge body and with a brightness of 10 million suns’

Now the second line, Nirvignam means without any obstacles, KuruMe means make my, Deva means lord, Sarva means all, karyeshu means work, Sarvadaa means always.. So the second line in first glance means ‘Oh lord, always may all my work be free of all obstacles’

What caught my attention here was the word surya koti samaprabha… brightness equivalent to a 10 million suns.. Over the period I have observed that the numbers mentioned throughout vedas should be considered more seriously and not as a mere exaggeration of something.. in later posts I will explain how vedic time units define the time on earth in relation to the time units mentioned on alien planet from where this aliens came and also how they describe not only the age of the universe, but also probable time periods for the complete evolution of a universe from big bang to big crunch cycles, yes very advanced time scale calcuations I must say…

Now as I said earlier Vakratunda is lord ganesha who has one of his two tusks broken, now we can look at it also as a balance shift where two things were balancing each other earlier.. say two scales where on each side we have same mass placed so that both scales balance each other, now increasing or decreasing on one side will cause an imbalance in the scale.

Look at the next word, Mahakaaya means a very larger object than an average one in terms of size…

Then the third one is even more interesting as I said earlier, a brightness of 10 million suns!!! and this is were the catch is.. The entire first line now on decrypting becomes ‘an imbalance between two things in a huge body leads to a brightness of 10 million suns!!’

The only place in this universe where we can witness a brightness of 10 millions suns in one place is a supernova explosion of a massive star. For a star to undergo a supernova explosion it has to be much more massive than an average star like Sun (thats why its said Mahakaaya, not just Kaaya). So whats the imbalance then? Well, thats what causes a supernova explosion!! A star is always balanced against its continuous nuclear explosions (which is an outward force) at the core by its massive gravity (which is an inward force), in huge stars as the nuclear fuel is spent and the explosions move outwards from core towards the surface of the star, this creates an imbalance as the explosions are no longer able to counter balance the gravitational inward force, this in massive stars (whose mass is above the chandrashekar limit) causes an explosion resulting in the star releasing so much energy that its brightness outshines the brightness of its entire galaxy during the explosion, some documented supernovas witnessed from earth were so bright (like the supernova in constellation Taurus recorded by the Chinese in 1054 http://www.springerlink.com/content/jp32786176232887/) that the supernova star was visible even during day in the sky (which meant it was brighter than sun inspite of being 1000s of times far away than sun!!)

So the first line when explains a supernova explosion as ‘When the balance of two forces that hold a massive star together is lost, the result is an explosion with a brightness equivalent to that of 10 million suns’

Whats more interesting for me is the second line.. feeling sleepy now.. will keep it for tomorrow..  also more to follow on who were these aliens and why did they visit earth? where is the proof about their visit? where did they land? and much more….

In this series of blogs I am going to  put forward my case about whom we know about as Gods in true form being aliens who visited earth in those ancient times and who gave us the technology which we had lost for a long time which is been hidden in the ancient Indian texts – Vedas

There are two important texts here – Mahabharatha and Vedas – both of which are sacred to Hindus, but for me they are great historic and scientific works respectively

Mahabharatha is the history of those times and Vedas is the knowledge the people then had.. Veda Vyasa is the author who wrote Mahabharatha and COMPILED the vedas.. Vyasa is said to have compiled, in other words wrote a collective text on all the knowledge we had in those days.. Veda itself in sanskrit means Complete Knowledge.

Mahabharatha is the world’s largest epic, but ask me, its not just a piece of fiction, but a well documented ancient human history..

Let me say why before going into what that history really means..

It is the story which deals with about 3-4 generations for most of its part.. but the entire epic gives details of about 50-55 successive generations of emperors and contemporary kingdoms, their geographies, life style of people, whole chain of relations between royal families, geographical locations and borders of kingdoms, events etc and almost all these locations mentioned have been mapped to some or other place in contemporary India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Chinese areas…

Even in the war scenarios great deal of explanation is given about each weapon used

For every event in the epic there is an astronomical date assigned

If the author was just writing a story, what was the need for him to go into such a great detail? This very single historian point of view convinces me that it is well documented history.

Before we start what the history tells us.. well much of it is my own point of view.. let me tell the reader that Oppenheimer, the father of modern atomic bomb which was dropped on Japan, believed that ancient Indians had the nuclear technology and this he believed because of the verses of Bhagavadgita (which is a narration part in Mahabharatha about the duties of a human being and about the nature of nature, in fact Bhagavadgita is the best psychological work I have ever read!)

Some lines in Mahabharatha describe a weapon of mass destruction used and this description matches completely with a nuclear bomb. This was what oppenheimer was referring to as ancient Indian nuclear technology. The muschroom cloud, the radiation burns, the blast wave after the nuclear explosion, all these are explained in detail.. It says ‘Soldiers tried to escape from the fire and jumped into water, yet they could not escape’, this is what radiation does, even water cannot save one from radiation burns!!!

The current human population on earth is approx 6 billion.. In Mahabharatha it is said that in the final war which lasted for less than a month, 14 billion people were killed!!! Two things get clear here..

First, only WMD Weapons of Mass Destructions can kill so many people in such a small time..

Second and more important, it looks like this has been a repeating cycle  on this planet where a civilization reaches its technological peak and then destroys itself using the same technology when a world war is triggered.. and the cycle starts again where people start inventing things from scratch.. If only in the past 500 years we have achieved all the technology we have today, it makes me impossible to believe that humans who had the same brain that we have today for the past 2 million years ( as per evolution theory) didn’t achieve anything else!!!!! If the same brain could invent so much in 500 years, what reason can anybody give to say that for the past so many thousand years our same brains were idle???

More in Part II tomorrow… about Aliens visiting earth, alien wars on earth, opposition to cloning and genetic experiments mentioned in Mahabharatha, the villains in Mahabharatha were a result of cloning/test tube babies (totally 100 kids born to a single mother where the 100 foetus were kept in special pots for the babies to develop), sanskrit being an language of alien origin ( and thats y the only language eligible to be a computer programming language due to its scientific correctness!), etc

Are GODS Aliens? Wednesday, Dec 21 2005

Sometimes I just wonder, to who are we praying when we say GODS? Who is GOD? The one who created this universe? or the one who bought life on this planet earth? or the one who gave intelligence to human beings to create a concept of GOD?
Did GOD create humans or is it the other way round?
Or are we mislead and are thinking history to be mythology and aliens to be GODS??
Scientists still debate on the question about how come suddenly human brain started growing so large and humans became intelligent(?) beings are we are today?

Well, are we the result of experiments done by some aliens whom we today praise as gods?
GODS live in heaven? Is that some faraway planetary settlement of aliens?
GODS used to visit earth? Are they aliens?

Definitely in that case the GODS we think of are not the creators of this universe, but a limited set of it called intelligent life??

But where are these GODS now? Why arent they visiting us? Or are they?
Another point here is, if aliens are GODS then they are definitely mortals. So the GODS whom we know via mythology (which is actually history) are dead today!!! So there are different sets of GODS today!! Or are the GODS still there in their planetary establishment.

Another fact that confirms my thought about GOD=ALIEN is the human kind of mindset we hear about GODS, they used to fight wars, some were jealous, etc. This suits more with an alien definition than with an ideal GOD.

Then is there any real GOD who created this universe? If yes, then he has to be outside this universe, then were is the science?

Also, even if there is any real GOD, he/she (does GOD have a gender? I dont think so) cant interfere in our day to day lives by giving us boons, helping us out in difficult times etc because thats unscientific, that will be violation of the laws that govern this universe.

If we live in a multi verse which is a collection of multiple universes, then what is the role of GOD here?
